STEP 1 – APPLY TO JOIN ADS

You then send the completed form via email, together with:
- a clear copy of your ID document,
- copy of a utility bill or bank statement, confirming your street address
- a copy of your most recent payslip sheet; and
STEP 2 – AGREE TO PAYMENT PLAN
As soon as ADS have received the application form and documentation, we will proceed with your Quote. We also will contact you to discuss the proposed payment plan, to ensure you are happy. You sign the document and return it to us via email.
You are then ready to activate your account by following the next steps:
STEP 3 – PAY YOUR ACTIVATION FEE AS PER QOUTE

Paying via a retailer:
You can pay your activation fee at any one of the following major retailers:
• Shoprite • Checkers • PnP • Boxer • USave • Spar • Pep Stores


STEP 4 – ADS ACTIVATION RECEIVED
ADS will:
- handle all creditors communication, written and telephonically
- will always keep you posted at all times
- set up automated stop orders, to ensure monthly payments to each individual creditor
- monitor monthly payments
- monitor statements
- provide proof of payments
- attend to debit orders and debi checks
- assist you in making positive financial decisions, in order to improve your ITC report as fast as possible
- make sure that paid in full letters are received from creditors
STEP 5 – SET UP STOP ORDER PAYMENTS TO YOUR CREDITORS FROM YOUR IMB ACCOUNT
Install a STOP ORDER to run from the bank account into which your salary is paid to your personal and protected IMB wallet account the details of which will be on Page 2 of the Consent Form.
OR you can ask your Employer to change your salary deposit to be paid directly into your IBM wallet account. (Please read important information below)
Install the Stop orders for your creditors in the amounts as in your Payment Plan as well as ADS Service Fee from your IMB protected account

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
HOW TO SAFE GUARD YOUR SALARY
If your salary / wages are being paid into a bank account which has debit orders,
loan repayments being taken off please close this account and open a new bank
account at another bank OR you can simply use your new IMB account as your
main account.
Note: If you do not have loans or debit orders at your current bank you can keep
using this account as a transaction account and then just set up the stop orders
from this account to the IMB account for the total of the creditors monthly
payments.
WHAT IF CREDITORS CONTACT YOU DIRECTLY?
- Once you are an ADS Client, do not start a conversation with your creditors but ask them to forward their requests to you by sms or email.
- Then forward this message to creditors@alternatedebtsolutions.co.za
- We will follow up with the Creditor directly and keep you informed.
